THIS JOURNEY IS NOW COMPLETE! This was a challenge I undertook from Feb 2011 to Feb 2012. Thanks to everyone that kept me going! Feel free to read through and comment, I am now also periodically adding reviews here as I sample other beers that I did not come across during the challenge.

Birra Moretti
With such a catchy slogan as 'The Beer in Italy' I figured I could not go wrong with this one. There's also a guy
on the bottle drinking a pint wearing a green suit and a green hat. BOWSS. I can't read the bottle cus it is all
in Italian, but I interpret that this beer is the choice of pimps from Milan to Rome.
This is a full bodied lager with a heavy flavour and bitter aftertaste. It's not too bad though, it's a run of the mill
decent lager with maybe a stronger flavour than your standard euro lager. Doesn't really have that fruity tinge to it that
for me can make or break a euro beer, more often the latter.
Not groundbreaking, but simple and effective.
