This Effen Lager is effen good! I drank this last night but didn't write the review till today, which was a bit
of a mistake cus I'm trying to remember the experience. It has a BIG flavour, similar to when you drink something
like Little Creatures or Squires, that first initial boom of strong hop and malt flavours all blending together almost
perfectly.
The difference is this is a lager not an ale. You still get the same dry, bitter aftertaste but it works in
nicely with the flavours. The label states that it is 'no ordinary lager, with real flavour and body' and that it
is 'full of character, well balanced and damn easy going'.
The description really is bang on point, and not just a bunch of wanker marketing. Great beer.
