Holy mother of christ. This tasted just like lemon, lime and bitters... if you replaced the lime with kerosene.
This was always going to be bad... after some of the other Grand Ridge shockers I left this 8.5% 'dark scotch ale' till last because of it's name. It tasted more like downing a shot than taking a swig of beer.
How anyone could casually sit down and drink a few of these is well and truly beyond me.

ReplyDeleteTo be honest I'm a bit suspect on all the Grand Ridge beers I tried. I'm wondering if they were off or something. I have a mate with similar tastes who rates them... who knows.
