Mountain Goat Hightail Ale

So along the run of stronger, dark ales we come to the offering from Mountain Goat. I liked their Steam Ale so had high
hopes for this one. It's much cleaner than the previous few I've had. It has a rich amber ale flavour with a toffee
tinge through it.

Good drinking. It's a nice winter beer on this chilly night. It doesn't match a Squire's Amber Ale but it does
a good job of it.

The aftertaste is bitter but not overbearing and well balanced. It is a good upgrade on the 3 Ravens dark ale
I just sampled. This is more of a well rounded version.

8/10
