After the success of the Mac's Pilsner I'd tried earlier I thought I might try another of their brews. This one wasn't as impressive I have to say. It still had a nice clean flavour, which is testament to it's natural ingredients, but it was a little lacking. It's a malty lager as the name suggests but it's a bit soft around the edges. It's by no means a bad beer, but doesn't cut as sharp as their Pilsner did in my opinion.
