Saigon 333


Tonight I was out for the old man's birthday, and sampled a couple of very different brews. The first was Saigon 333, which I'm told is the 'working class' beer of
Vietnam. If you're thinking their version of VB, you're on the right track.

I'm sure in stinking hot weather an ice cold 333 goes down a treat, but with a nice meal it really didn't cut the mustard. It's basically just a boring, run of the mill lager without a whole lot of flavour. It's not a bad tasting beer, just when comparing with the previous 80 odd on this journey it's at the back of the pack.
